This Week's Scheduled MODIS Activities Not Completed:

None

Upcoming MODIS Events:

Calibrations for August include biweekly SDSM, monthly SRCA Full Radiometric, and bimonthly PV Ecals.

Maneuvers:

There will be no Aqua MODIS Lunar Calibration Roll in August 2004. The necessary roll angle is -28.1151 degrees (exceeding the -20.0 degree limit).

The Aqua satellite will be executing a series of five additional (there have already been 2 for Aqua) Inclination Adjust Maneuvers (IAM) between DOY 2004/258 and 2004/317 (September 14, 2004 and November 12, 2004, respectively). The planned dates for each maneuver (exact time and duration for each to be updated as the events draw near):

2004/258 (September 14, 2004) IAM #3
2004/265 (September 21, 2004) IAM #4
2004/272 (September 28, 2004) IAM #5
2004/279 (October 5, 2004) IAM #6
2004/286 (October 12, 2004) IAM #7

No official date has yet been scheduled for the Aqua Deep Space Calibration pitch maneuver(s).

MODIS Anomalies:

None

General Instrument Comments:

FM1 MODIS is in Science Mode. The SVD and NAD are Open, the survival heaters are enabled, and the Black Body is heated to 285 K.

MODIS Telemetry Trends:

The FM1 MODIS instrument telemetry is trending nominally.
