Maneuvers:

The second Terra Deep Space Calibration Maneuver (with the Moon in the instruments' fields of view) was completed successfully on April 14, 2003. All Maneuver Activities executed as planned and no anomalous conditions were detected. MODIS performed as expected during the maneuver. The temperature of the cold focal planes peaked at 94.1 K, and returned to their nominally controlled 83 K about 16 hours later. The following are a few key events that occurred with respect to MODIS for the maneuver:

There will not be a Terra MODIS lunar calibration during the month of April. The required roll angle exceeds the maximum allowed angle of -20 degrees.

The next Terra Drag Make-Up (DMU) Maneuver is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at 19:15 GMT (DOY 2003/120). The DMU will be a 20-second burn.
