This Week’s Scheduled MODIS Activities Not Completed:

None

Upcoming MODIS Events:

Calibrations for June will include biweekly SDSM.

Tuesday, June 27, 2006

2006/178 20:43:03-20:51:51 ATC MOD_OA16_SDSM_SCRN_NO_DOOR_A.4 OA-16: SD/SDSM screened side A, no door movement.

Maneuvers:

The next Terra MODIS Lunar Calibration Roll will be on DOY 2006/196 (July 15, 2006). The roll angle will be -8.6125 degrees. Data collect will be from 03:35:46 - 03:42:16.

MODIS Anomalies:

None

General Instrument Comments:

MODIS is in Science Mode, using all A-side components, but cross-strapped to Formatter B, with the blackbody maintained at 290K and the Solar Diffuser Door at the Screened position.

MODIS Telemetry Trends:

Nominal telemetry trending is ongoing.

Non-MODIS Significant Events:

The Terra FOT performed a software update to their TONS system's Drag Model on 2006/172. A side effect of the update was that for a few hours, 2006/172/14:17:30-20:37:35 GMT, the pointing accuracy of the spacecraft was not within normal constraints. There should be no holes in the science data. However, there may be some pointing abnormalities in the MODIS data as a result of the event.
