MODIS Anomalies:
Terra has experienced two new SFE anomalies. Details follow:
The first SFE anomaly occurred at 2009/250/15:18:58, preventing the acquisition of science data through Direct Broadcast and the SSR. At 2009/250/20:56:35, the SFE-A was turned back on. Science recording was enabled at 21:03:44. Direct Broadcast was enabled at 21:04:47. Non-recoverable data loss times were 2009/250/15:18:23-21:03:42 (05:45:19 total).
The second SFE anomaly occurred at 2009/252/02:06:00, preventing the acquisition of science data through Direct Broadcast and the SSR. At 2009/252/05:34:57, the SFE-A was turned back on. Science recording was enabled at 05:40:08. Direct Broadcast was enabled at 05:40:50. Non-recoverable data loss times were 2009/252/02:05:59-05:40:06 (03:34:07 total).
General Instrument Comments:
MODIS is in Science Mode, using all A-side components, but cross-strapped to Formatter B, with the blackbody maintained at 290K and the Solar Diffuser Door at the Screened position.
MODIS Telemetry Trends:
Nominal telemetry trending is ongoing.
