General Instrument Comments:

MODIS is in Science Mode, using all A-side components, but
cross-strapped to Formatter B, with the blackbody nominally maintained at 290K and
the Solar Diffuser Door at the Screened position.

Note that the BlackBody will be maintained at 285K.

With the recent Terra SSR reset, MODIS was allocated a full compliment of PWAs and no longer needs to reduce its data rate. Starting with September 26, 2021 (2021/269) at 0000z, the MODIS formatter commanding (day rate/night rate) will be synchronized with terminator crossing, which is its nominal timing.

MODIS Telemetry Trends:

Nominal telemetry trending is ongoing.

Non-MODIS Significant Events:

Terra FOT initiated a SSR Reset on September 22, 2021 (2021/265) in an effort to revive previously failed PWAs. Science recording was disabled between 11:14:14 – 22:53:58. The reset was successful and MODIS was allocated 18 PWAs.
