General Instrument Comments:
MODIS is in Science Mode, using all A-side components, but
cross-strapped to Formatter B, with the blackbody nominally maintained at 290K and
the Solar Diffuser Door at the Screened position.
Note that the BlackBody will be maintained at 285K.
With the recent Terra SSR reset, MODIS was allocated a full complement of PWAs and no longer needs to reduce its data rate. Starting with September 26, 2021 (2021/269) at 0000z, the MODIS formatter commanding (day rate/night rate) will be synchronized with terminator crossing, which is its nominal timing.
