2003/231 00:15:07 - 00:17:38 MCL MOD_OA27_PV_ECAL.1 OA27: Photovoltaic bands electronics calibration

Maneuvers:

There will be no Aqua MODIS Lunar Calibration Roll in September of 2003. The required roll angle would be - 27.18 degrees (the limit is -20.0).

The Aqua inclination adjustment maneuver is still being planned for October 2, 2003. The maneuver is to be performed completely in eclipse. Once again, contingency activities will be scheduled to close the MODIS nadir and space view doors in the event that the spacecraft does not return to nominal pointing. If the maneuver is successful, the commands to close the MODIS doors will be inhibited.

No official date has yet been scheduled for the Aqua Deep Space Calibration pitch maneuver(s).

MODIS Anomalies:

None

General Instrument Comments:

FM1 MODIS is in Science Mode. The SVD and NAD are Open, the survival heaters are enabled, and the Black Body is heated to 285 K.

MODIS Telemetry Trends:

The FM1 MODIS instrument telemetry is trending nominally.
