This Week's Scheduled MODIS Activities Not Completed:

Tuesday, October 7, 2003

2003/280 15:39:35-15:41:05 MCL MOD_NAD_AND_SVD_TO_CLOSED.1

This activity starts 90 seconds prior to entering spacecraft day. It is the MODIS contingency activity for the Aqua Inclination Adjust Maneuver (see Maneuvers below).

Upcoming MODIS Events:

October calibrations will include biweekly SDSM, monthly SRCA Full Radiometric, and quarterly SRCA Full Spectral and Blackbody calibrations. In addition, a full set of memory table dumps will be gathered.

A request for a Day Rate collection over Night Ground Track has been made. This request will be completed once SSR buffer management times have been worked out with the Flight Operations Team.

Maneuvers:

The Aqua MODIS Lunar Calibration Roll in November will happen on DOY 2003/308 (November 4, 2003). At 09:23:47-09:30:17 GMT. The roll angle will be -13.73 degrees.

The Aqua Inclination Adjustment Maneuver took place on October 7, 2003. The maneuver executed as expected. As a result, no Drag Make-Up Maneuver was necessary on October 9, 2003.

No official date has yet been scheduled for the Aqua Deep Space Calibration pitch maneuver(s).
