This Week's Scheduled MODIS Activities Not Completed:

For Aqua Inclination Adjust Maneuver (#5)
2004/272 16:00:40-16:01:40 MCL MOD_NAD_AND_SVD_TO_CLOSED.1
Scheduled 90 seconds prior to S/C Day (16:02:10)

Upcoming MODIS Events:

Calibrations for October include biweekly SDSM, monthly SRCA Full Radiometric, bimonthly PV Ecal, quarterly SRCA Full Spectral, and quarterly Blackbody.

A request by MCST has been made to perform SRCA 10W and 1W continuous mode Radiometric observations. These activities will be coordinated for the first half of October. These tests will be similar to the ones perform in October 2003.

For Aqua Inclination Adjust Maneuver (#6)
2004/279 16:05:53-16:06:53 MCL MOD_NAD_AND_SVD_TO_CLOSED.1
Scheduled 90 seconds prior to S/C Day (16:07:23)

Maneuvers:

The next Aqua MODIS Lunar Calibration Roll will be on DOY 2004/297 (October 23, 2004). The roll angle will be -16.6865 degrees for a nominal 6:30 (390 second) collection.

The Aqua satellite will be executing a series of five additional (there have already been 2 for Aqua) Inclination Adjust Maneuvers (IAM) between DOY 2004/258 and 2004/317 (September 14, 2004 and November 12, 2004, respectively). The planned dates for each maneuver (exact time and duration for each to be updated as the events draw near):

2004/258 (September 14, 2004) IAM #3 Executed: 15:18:11-15:49:31 slewed off nominal pointing 550 second thruster burn
2004/265 (September 21, 2004) IAM #4 Executed: 15:23:36-15:54:56 slewed off nominal pointing 550 second thruster burn
2004/272 (September 28, 2004) IAM #5 Executed: 15:28:59-16:00:19 slewed off nominal pointing 550 second thruster burn
2004/279 (October 5, 2004) IAM #6 Planned: 15:34:22-16:05:42 slewed off nominal pointing 550 second thruster burn
2004/286 (October 12, 2004) IAM #7

No official date has yet been scheduled for the Aqua Deep Space Calibration pitch maneuver(s).
