This Month's MODIS Events:
---

May’s routine activities include a Test Yaw SDSM Calibration Closed on 2024/127, a Test Yaw SDSM Calibration Open on 2024/127, a Lunar Calibration (no roll) on 2024/139, a Lunar Roll on 2024/140, an SDSM Closed on 2024/141, an SDSM Open on 2024/141.

Non-routine activities include a Test Yaw SDSM Calibration Closed on 2024/127, a Test Yaw SDSM Calibration Open on 2024/127, a Lunar Calibration (no roll) on 2024/139, and a Lunar Roll on 2024/140.

Next Week's MODIS Events:

Monday, May 06, 2024

--

2024/127 12:34:28 MCL MOD_OA03_FR_DAY_RATE.1

2024/127 13:14:40 MCL MOD_OA03_FR_NIGHT_RATE.2 (09:15 early)

2024/127 13:58:44-14:19:42 MCL MOD_OA09_YAW_MAN_SCREEN_DBL.1

2024/127 14:22:28 MCL MOD_OA03_FR_DAY_RATE.1 (09:15 late)

2024/127 14:53:25 MCL MOD_OA03_FR_NIGHT_RATE.2 (09:15 early)

2024/127 15:37:29-15:58:27 MCL MOD_OA09_YAW_MAN_OPEN_DBL.1

2024/127 16:01:13 MCL MOD_OA03_FR_DAY_RATE.1 (09:15 late)

2024/127 16:41:25 MCL MOD_OA03_FR_NIGHT_RATE.2

Please note that this is a test run of a newly developed calibration, which was designed to be performed during yaw maneuvers. This calibration includes a sector rotation which will result in loss of EV data. The calibration commands the MODIS formatter into Day rate when it would otherwise be Night rate, so additional Night rate has been added before and after the calibration to maintain nominal data collection levels.

Maneuvers:

---

Aqua Lunar Roll will take place on 2024/140.

MODIS Anomalies:

None

General Instrument Comments:

FM1 MODIS is in Science Mode. The SVD and NAD are open, the survival

heaters are enabled, and the Blackbody is heated to 285 K.
